Weymouth Furnace Adventure

It’s Martin Luther King, Jr Day and I figured I would take you somewhere a little historic as a symbol of my appreciation for this man who took a stand! I love exertions that are peaceful and quaint and The Weymouth Furnace is one of them.

It’s located in Mays Landing, South Jersey. This is just one of many historic sites to explore and during the summer you can tube with the family for hours down the creek along side of it. On this site, the brick furnace produced iron with charcoal and was in operation for around 60 years back in the 1800’s and still remains. Also, during the war of 1812, the furnace was a supplier of bombs to the U.S. government! To this day the remnants of the furnace are here even after it was destroyed in a fire.

I figured Id use this opportunity to share my new maxi cardigan! This is an item I love so much. They’re just so unique and can be a great statement to an outfit whether you are going out to dinner or out on the town!

I decided to grab one of these as soon as I spotted one I thought was good quality. I got this Kendall & Kylie maxi for Christmas from Pacsun and it is absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, it hasn’t been placed online to buy, but I’m pretty sure they still have it in stock in stores.

The stitching is amazing and so is the velvet print. The cardigan fits loosely so its great to wear with footless tights like I’m wearing here, or some shorts and a tank in the summer! Check it out!
